Hi! I'm Jordi. I write for theatre, TV, and film. 

I love writing about people. I'm obsessed with humans - how we think, feel,
move through the world, how our actions impact those around us, and what the consequences of those actions are. 
I write a lot about the role of women in society, both from a contemporary and historical perspective.
 
As a playwright, my work has been produced around the world, published, and translated into multiple languages. 
Some of my plays include: Between The Sheets, Caught, This Will Be Excellent, 
Brontë: The World Without, and a new stage adaption of the literary classic, Little Women. 
 
I've worked with many of Canada’s most prominent and exciting theatre companies like:
the Stratford Festival, Tarragon Theatre, Theatre Passe Muraille, Nightwood Theatre, Nightswimming Theatre,
Carousel Players, Unspun Theatre, Litmus Theatre, and more. 

For TV, I was a writer on the fourth season of the hit CTV Canadian crime drama, Cardinal. 
 
I'm a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Bell Media Prime Time TV Program
and the National Theatre School of Canada's Acting program. 
 
UPCOMING:
In 2024, I will debut my latest play, In Seven Days, first at The Grand in London and then with the Harold Green
Jewish Theatre Company in Toronto. I am the writer of the upcoming film adaptation of Harriet Alida Lye’s thriller
and am currently in development on a new TV series with Neshama Entertainment. As well, I am 
writing new plays for the Stratford Festival and the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company. 
 
I live in Toronto, Canada with my husband, daughter, and cat who eats way too much.
